Guntur: The Government of India will set up an MSME Technology Center in the state capital Amravati at a cost of Rs 250 crore as land is available in Amravati instead of Koperthi in Kadapa district. Principal Secretary to the Government N Yuva Raj issued a GO in this regard on Monday.
APCRDA will allocate 20 acres of land for setting up an MSME Technology Center and Testing Facility in the state capital Amravati. Commissioner of CRDA directed to transfer the identified land to Commissioner, MSME, New Delhi immediately in coordination with Director of Industries for establishment of second MSME technology at Amravati through GOI Ministry of MSME. Center-cum-testing facility can be established.
The Commissioner of CRDA and the Director of Industries will take necessary steps in this regard in close coordination with the Ministry of MSME.
