Dr. Prabodh Mohnti, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI), expressed hope of the upcoming Union Budget 2025-26, which includes micro, small, and medium-sized businesses (MSME ) The need to pay attention to the sector was emphasized. Mohani described India’s important role in achieving India’s $ 5 trillion economic target.

According to Mohani, as the UCCI, the National Industry Association, there is hope for budget provisions such as corporate tax, financial privileges, and interest subsidies, especially for the MSME sector. He advised that these measures, especially in Odisha, could significantly increase the dynamicity of the sector.

Highlighting the challenges facing MSMES, Mohani emphasized on smooth purchase policies and timely payments to improve liquidity and working capital positions. He also demanded government privileges in digitalization and sustainable technical methods, imagining the growing competition globally.
