If you’re inclined towards acting but have never given it a shot, here’s an opportunity to join bespoke theater workshops designed for beginners of all ages.

Actor Manish Sharma, who has 20 years of experience behind him, will conduct workshops in the city in association with NIV Art Center over a period of four weeks starting this month-end.

The first workshop in the series, I Am Drama, will be held from April 27 to May 26 for ages 18 and above. Creativity and self-expression will take center stage in the weekend classes. “It will be 30 hours of pure theatrical sensation,” promises Manish, who has also appeared in theater productions including Five Grains of Sugar, Ayam Indrajith, In Times of War, The Doctor in Spite of Himself, Suneen Janamjaya, Jokmaraswamy. .

Manish also plans to conduct a three-hour, five-day workshop for children aged 8 to 12 years and 13 to 17 years at a later date.
