Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg met with US President-elect Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago on Friday, the Semaphore news website reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.

Metta and Trump’s transition team did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

The US tech giant said in a memo to its employees on Friday that it is ending its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs, including those for its hiring, training and suppliers.

Earlier this week, the social media company also scrapped its US fact-checking program and eased restrictions on discussions on controversial topics such as immigration and gender identity, bowing to criticism from conservatives Trump seconded. Barr is preparing to take over.
