Elon Musk has been closely associated with US President-elect Donald Trump. This was proven once again when Google CEO Sundar Pichai dialed Trump and Musk joined the call, reports Information. Mr. Pichai called to congratulate Trump on his victory over Kamala Harris in the recently concluded US presidential election.
In the past, Musk has alleged biases in Google’s search results, which showed that when searching for Trump, news about Harris appeared.

Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has previously engaged in telephone calls with world leaders and offered advice on personnel selection.
Musk has been called a “first friend” because of his close relationship with the president-elect.
The two have been spotted together at various events including the launch of the SpaceX Starship rocket on November 16 and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight bout.
Under Trump’s cabinet, Musk will lead the “Department of Government Efficiency” — a position Trump hinted at during his campaign. Musk will co-head the department with Indian-American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy. “Together, these two outstanding Americans will pave the way for my administration to eliminate government bureaucracy, cut redundant regulations, cut wasteful spending, and restructure federal agencies — which will be the ‘U.S. Rescue’ is essential to the movement,” Trump said in a statement.
Musk even got a mention in Trump’s victory speech and was described as an “amazing guy.”

The two spent election night at Trump’s Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago, keeping a close eye on the results and Trump’s return to the Oval Office after a four-year hiatus.
