Jerusalem:

A Palestinian lawyer group said Israel had released 183 prisoners on Saturday in exchange for a fourth hostage prisoner under a Gaza Seas fire agreement.

“The latest number of prisoners released yesterday is 183,” said Amani Saharana, a spokesman for the Palestinian prisoners club on Friday.

The Advocacy Group published two separate listings of names to release Saturday. The first consisted of 72 prisoners who were arrested on October 7, 2023 before the invasion of Israel.

In another list of prisoners liberated, 111 Gazan was detained after the attack, which gave birth to war in the Palestinian territory.

Since the war was implemented on January 19, Gaza militants have released 15 hostages after being in prison for more than 15 months.

According to the Yardinaj and the missing Family forum Campaign Group, the three hostages released on Saturday are Yarden Babas, Keith Siegel, who also has US citizenship, and Offer Cardron, who also has French nationality.

Ever since the ceasefire began, Israel has released hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, many of them are women and minors.
