An arrest warrant has been issued against Netanyahu and his defense minister Yves Gallant.
The Hague:
The International Criminal Court has today issued an arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Defense Minister Yves Gallant. The International Court of Justice in The Hague has charged Israeli leaders with war crimes during the conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon, where Israel is at war with Hamas and Hezbollah, respectively.
The International Criminal Court or ICC has also ordered the arrest of the military leader of Hamas, Mohammed Daif, as a war criminal.
In an official statement, the International Court of Justice said that “the Chamber has ordered the arrest of two individuals, Mr. issued warrants for, on the same day the prosecution filed applications for warrants of arrest.”
