The royal couple’s upcoming Netflix shows will be based on cooking and the US Polo Championship.

Los Angeles:

Prince Harry and wife Meghan are developing two upcoming Netflix shows that will focus on cooking and the US Polo Championship, the streaming service said Thursday.

The plans are part of a multi-year deal between Netflix and Archewell Productions, which the royal couple founded in 2020 after stepping down as senior members of the British royal family and moving to the US.

The first new series will focus on cooking, gardening, entertainment and friendship. Netflix said the show is being “curated” by Markle, who is serving as an executive producer.

The second series will follow the US Open Polo Championships in Wellington, Florida and will offer a look at the competition and the social landscape of the polo industry. Markle and Prince Harry are both executive producers of The Polo Show.

Both series are in early production and titles and release dates will be announced “in the coming months,” Netflix said.

The new series follows the couple’s other projects, including the 2022 Netflix documentary “Harry and Meghan.”
