Rock legend Bruce Springsteen will hold a concert and rally in Atlanta and Philadelphia with former President Barack Obama in the coming days as part of a series of get-out-the-vote events for Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign in battleground states. In 2016, Springsteen performed a three-song set at a rally for Democrat Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign before 20,000 people at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. In 2008, Springsteen played a seven-song set to tens of thousands of people on the city’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway to encourage voter registration and a rally for the Obama campaign.
In October, Springsteen announced his support for Harris, saying that he and his partner Tim Walls have “a vision of a country that respects everyone and includes everyone, Regardless of class, religion, race, your political views or gender identity, and they want to develop their economy in a way that benefits everyone.”
