Troops in the country’s north are preparing for a “decisive strike” against Lebanon’s Hezbollah after months of deadly cross-border exchanges, an Israeli military commander said on Friday.
Israeli forces have exchanged fire daily with Hamas ally Hezbollah since the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip began after the Palestinian group attacked southern Israel on October 7.
“We have already killed more than 500 terrorists in Lebanon, most of them from Hezbollah,” an army statement said. Is”.
