There is nothing more beautiful than a mother’s love and only a mother can go to any extent for her children. In an amazing display of motherly love and courage, a video is doing the rounds on the internet showing a mother leopard fighting off a tiger to save her two cubs. The episode was recorded inside Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, by Carol and Bob, who were on an African adventure.
A video shared by YouTube channel “Latest Sightings” on October 24 details the incident.
Carol and Bob, along with the Ranger God Living Show, set off on a safari ride early in the morning. God Leung knew of a leopard den in the area and thought it would be a great time to try to find it. Before they knew it, the two spotted the leopard. And her two children doubled as the cherry on top.
But something was off.
The leopard was seen standing unconscious on the top of a rock.
“The cheetah was outside its den when my husband spotted a tigress a few meters away, looking intently in the same general direction,” Carol recalled. “We initially thought that two separate events were unfolding – the leopard and her cubs, and the tigress watching the wild beast from a distance. But as she moved on, we realized that it was actually the leopard. was focused on!”, she added.
The lion went in and the leopard jumped in without caring for his life. The fierce leopard kicked the lioness and jumped back, clutching her paw like a wounded dog.
The children used this time to hide. When the lioness jumped, the leopard also ran away.
According to the report, the leopard had to move her cubs twice that afternoon. “She was exhausted but left with only minor injuries. As for the tigress, her leg was very dry.
