Fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya’s son Siddharth has shared an update on his life in Los Angeles as devastating fires engulf the city known for its lavish mansions owned by Hollywood stars. . Siddharth Mallya and his wife Jasmine, who both live in London, are safe in Los Angeles, far from the disaster-hit region.

Sharing a photo from Los Angeles, America’s second largest city, she wrote, “Thank you to everyone who came out. Jasmine, me and the animals are safe. If anyone in LA needs anything please let us know. Contact.”

Siddharth Mallya, son of Vijay Mallya and first wife Sameera Tayabji, tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Jasmine last year in London in a ceremony attended by his close friends from India.

Jasmine is sharing information regarding donations and relief supplies, as well as how wildfires are affecting animals in the region.

At least 10 people have died in the forest fire since Tuesday. Entire neighborhoods were burnt to ashes and thousands of residents were displaced from their homes.

Many movie stars and television personalities, including actors Paris Hilton and Anthony Hopkins, have lost their homes in the fire. Ms Hilton said on Instagram, “My heart aches for those still in loss or grieving more loss. The devastation is unimaginable.”

California National Guard troops were called in to deal with the chaos, while helicopters dropped water from the sky around the clock.

Pledging additional funds to deal with the crisis, President Joe Biden has announced that the federal government will cover the cost of measures to protect lives and property in Southern California for six months.

However, challenges remain as new fires continue to ignite with winds returning after a brief hiatus.
