After being trapped in space for eight months, NASA’s astronauts Sanita Williams and Boch Vilmor finally launched their first joint space walk outside the International Space Station.

Indian -born astronauts and commander Sunita Williams, along with fellow astronaut Barry Vilmor, left outside the International Space Station on Thursday to perform the rehabilitation work. As part of his work, he also wiped out the outer part of the station to examine any surviving microbes from the ground.
