Continuing the employment mission, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday announced that although the state has so far provided jobs to around 50,000 youth in the state, they will soon be employed in key departments such as health, education and others on a large scale. Addressing a gathering while handing over the appointment letters to the youth here today, the Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to providing opportunities to the youth to excel in life and so far they have been provided about 50,000 government jobs.
He said that more new avenues will be opened for the youth to ensure that they participate in the socio-economic development of the state. Be an active participant. The Chief Minister reiterated the commitment of the state government to ensure the welfare of the youth and open up new employment opportunities for them.
Bhagwant Singh Mann said that it is a matter of great pride and satisfaction for him that so far around 50,000 youth have been selected for these posts purely on the basis of merit. He said that now these youths have become an integral part of the government and now serve the people with missionary spirit.
The Chief Minister urged the youth to become grassroots rather than parachutists to excel in their lives. He said that the grass rooters are those who rise from the ground and conquer the whole world, he said that only the sky is the limit for these hard workers. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that while paratroopers come directly from the sky and sooner or later are destroyed to fall on the ground.
The Chief Minister said that the state government fills all the posts in the department as soon as they become vacant.
He said that a foolproof procedure has been adopted for the entire recruitment process due to which not a single appointment in these nearly 50,000 jobs has been challenged in any court so far. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that it is a proud moment for the Punjab government that these youths have been given government jobs purely on the basis of merit.

Bhagwant Singh Mann hoped that the new recruits would use their pen to help the needy and underprivileged sections of the society. He said that the newly recruited young people should ensure maximum welfare of the people so that every section of the society will benefit from it.
The Chief Minister urged the youth not to feel proud of their success but to be humble and work hard for more success.
Bhagwant Singh Mann advised the newly recruited youths to stay in the field and believe in hard work even after getting the post. Because it is the only key to success. He said that the youth should use this platform to become more successful as well as to be a better person.
The Chief Minister reiterated the firm commitment of the state government to make Punjab emerge as a hub of medical education.
He said that the work for the construction of upcoming medical colleges in SAS Nagar (Mohali), Kapurthala, Sangrur, Hoshiarpur and Malerkotla is going on in full swing. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the aim of these medical colleges and hospitals is to make the state the hub of medical education in the country, which will greatly benefit the people of Punjab.
The Chief Minister also said that the state government is opening hi-tech centers to train students for competitive exams. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that these centers will provide quality training to the youth to clear the UPSC examination and occupy the desired posts in the state and the country. He said that the goal of the state government is to ensure that the youth occupy high positions and serve the country.
The Chief Minister quipped that Sukhbir Singh Badal is a convent-educated political leader of Punjab who is not familiar with the basic topography of the state but wants to gain political power in Punjab. Similarly, he said that Capt Amarinder Singh and his family have a dubious track record of deceiving Punjab to show that they are standing with every hostile power be it the Mughals, the British or now the BJP.
Similarly, Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a master of idioms who could attach himself to any thing or place according to his wishes and desires.
