The Bangladesh government has set up a committee to seek recommendations on whether to increase the age limit for applications for public sector jobs.

According to Mohammad Mukhlisur Rehman, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, the matter has been prioritized by the government.

Rehman made these remarks at a press conference at the ministry on Monday afternoon.

In order to speed up the work of the committee, the secretary said that he would leave his car and take a motorcycle to reach the adviser.
