Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur said that the grandiose claims made by the leaders of the state government are proving to be baseless.

Each of their claims only adds to the government’s list of lies that make it clear that there is no coordination within the government. “Thousands of trained unemployed persons and candidates are asking if the pending results will ever be released or will they wait indefinitely,” he said in a statement issued here on Saturday.

The opposition leader said the Congress state government spent crores of rupees to celebrate its two years in power in Bilaspur on December 11, with some leaders making loud and enthusiastic speeches.

“There was a claim that the results of all the pending Staff Selection Commission examinations would be declared within a month. However, now that a month has passed, not a single result has been released as per their promises. ,” he added.

Thakur said, “I want to ask if these leaders make such statements just to grab media headlines or are they false?” Or that their opinions are not being heard, so they resort to making big claims from public platforms?

He further said that the Congress party came to power by making false promises and now it is reneging on its promises.

“They promised to provide one lakh government jobs every year, but so far, this government has only been able to complete the recruitment process started by our (BJP) predecessor. Two Even after years, they could not announce the pending exam results.

The Leader of the Opposition remarked that this government will be known for taking away jobs and not for giving them. They have eliminated more than 1.5 lakh vacancies. Even outsourced recruiters are being held back by their incompetence, as the High Court has questioned the recruitment process of their outsourcing agencies.

The High Court had even questioned why companies selling phenyl were listed for outsourcing. This government cannot even pay the salaries of those already employed. Not only this, they have also terminated the employees appointed during our time. “They promised to bring a policy for outsourced employees, but now this government has neither made a policy nor is able to provide employment,” he pointed out.

He further said that the Chief Minister and the entire government are resorting to lies to buy time.
If they cannot fulfill any promises, their leaders should not make such promises in the first place. Relying on lies to protect your reputation will not last long. One by one, their claims are being exposed, and the public is laughing at their actions,” said Thakur.
