Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) praised Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for providing ample number of government jobs. AAP MP Malvinder Singh Kang said the Mann government has given more than 45,000 government posts to youth in the last two-and-a-half years without any bribe or recommendation.

Speaking to the media at the party office in Chandigarh on Friday, Malvinder Kang highlighted that in previous governments, people often had to pay lakhs of rupees in bribes for government jobs, many of which were held by politicians’ families and relatives. used to go to Due to the lack of employment opportunities, many youth felt compelled to seek employment abroad.

The Mann government has ended the tradition of bribery and political favoritism in government jobs. Our administration has provided government jobs to 45,708 youth on merit basis without any bribe or political recommendation.

Elaborating employment statistics, Kang said the government has made hundreds of appointments in various departments, including 4,870 in the Local Body Department, 4,953 in the Power Department, 692 in the Agriculture Department, 700 in the Animal Husbandry Department, and 1,234 in the Cooperatives. 1,369 in the Health Department, 909 in the Prisons Department, 564 in the Public Works Department, 2,220 in the Revenue Department, and 1,779 in the Water Resources Department.

On September 24, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann distributed 586 appointment letters for the health department.

Kang commented that even during the Lok Sabha elections, people appreciated our efforts, especially for providing government jobs that benefited many families. He emphasized that providing quality education and employment to the youth is the top priority of the AAP government, and we are happy that our Chief Minister is working tirelessly to achieve this goal.
