In a recent development in the ₹ 3.25 crore government job scam, where candidates were given fake offer letters for the posts of Deputy Collector and Class 1 officers, the accused who were in CBI custody were sent to jail. is

Among these accused are two lawyers Jalup Taylor and Jitendra Prajapati.

During the last court hearing, advocate Anil Kayla argued that the two lawyers have nothing to do with the case and there is insufficient evidence against them.

The CBI sought a 14-day remand of the accused, but advocate Keela opposed it, leading the court to remand only five days for necessary interrogation and investigation.

Advocate Kayla argued that the two lawyers were falsely arrested and had nothing to do with the crime. And the police found no evidence against the lawyers.

Additionally, the police have arrested a man popularly known as Vaghela in connection with the case.

A total of eight people have been charged, five of whom have been sent to jail. A man named Yogesh Patel has applied for bail in the Sessions Court to stay his arrest.

Two suspects are absconding and the search is on.
