• We also used the alleged quote from Home Affairs Adviser Chaudhary about giving preference to Muslims for government jobs, to find out whether he had said it or not.

• Again, the search yielded no reliable results.

• Neither of the country Website The Ministry of Home Affairs does not have any such announcement and neither do they Social media handle.

• However, the Facebook page of the Press Wing of Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus shared a message. Post on January 2, 2025, which contained a screenshot of the claim.

• In the post, he described the post as “completely false”, adding that “the quote from the Home Affairs Adviser mentioned in the post is also false.”

Result: The claim that the government of Bangladesh has banned Hindu citizens from government jobs.
