Mann said that the state government is filling up the vacant posts in every department immediately.
Punjab News: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s administration has achieved a major milestone by providing 45,560 government jobs to the youth of Punjab in just two and a half years. He termed this achievement as a historic step that will change the lives of the youth of the state.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the previous governments neglected the needs of the youth, which led to many government posts being embroiled in legal disputes. In contrast, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has effectively fulfilled these roles, with plans for more employment opportunities in the near future.
Mann said that the state government is filling up the vacant posts in every department immediately. Highlighting the transparent recruitment process, he said that not a single appointment out of 45,560 was challenged in court. This is a matter of pride for the Punjab Government, as these posts are filled purely on the basis of merit.
On September 7, Chief Minister Mann distributed appointment letters to 293 young men and women from various departments at Municipal Bhawan in Chandigarh. He expressed satisfaction that candidates from ordinary families, who once lost hope of getting government jobs, are now getting jobs without the need for bribes or recommendations.
Mann urged the youth not to leave the country, pointing out that there are plenty of employment opportunities locally for qualified persons. He encouraged the youth to consider traveling abroad for more than just entertainment.
