He warned the people of Jammu and Kashmir against the BJP’s “cheating tactics”, and accused the party of diverting attention from important issues like unemployment and lack of development.

“Except promises, BJP has done nothing for the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the last 10 years. Now, during elections, they are shamelessly trying to raise irrelevant issues to cover up their failures. ,” he said.

Mr. Kharge also criticized the BJP’s promise to create 500,000 jobs, calling it an empty slogan. For 10 years, they could not provide a few thousand jobs to the youth. Now how can they promise 500,000 jobs? They are cheating the youth here,” he said.

The Congress chief stressed the importance of reviving the “Durbar Move” tradition for the economic prosperity of both the Jammu and Kashmir region, reiterating the Congress’ commitment to the welfare and development of the people.

He urged voters to support Thakur Balbir Singh, the Congress candidate from the Jasrota seat, who will vote in the third and final phase of the assembly elections on October 1.

As the political landscape heats up in Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Kharge’s bold statements reflect the Congress party’s strategy to regain influence in the region amid growing tensions with the BJP.
