The Chief Adviser to the Interim Government, Professor Muhammad Yunus, has assured the job seekers of meeting the demand for raising the age limit for entry into government jobs.
Russell, a member of the team, told reporters after the meeting that he gave this assurance when a five-member team of job aspirants met him at the State Guest House Jumna on Monday afternoon.
“Chief Adviser Prof. Dr Muhammad Yunus fully supports our demand to increase the age limit for entry into government jobs to 35 years. He assured us to fulfill the demand,” he said.
Russell said that Professor Yunus came home after a long journey. That is why he met with advisers Asif Mahmood and Naheed Islam for an hour.
During the discussion, he spoke on phone to Abdul Moeed Chaudhary, convener of the committee formed to examine the possibility of increasing the age limit for government jobs in this regard.
Russell also said that his team would discuss the implementation of the demand with the secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday.
