Mumbai: Artificial intelligence has once again taken the internet by storm, this time with AI-generated photos of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his family performing Umrah in Mecca. Pictures that have gone viral on social media show SRK in Ihram, standing in front of the Kaaba with his wife Gauri Khan wearing a white hijab. In another picture, SRK is seen with his son Aryan Khan.

Although the pictures are fake and completely AI-generated, the scenes of the Khan family at one of the holiest places in Islam have left fans, especially SRKians, in a state of both shock and awe.

While some have expressed joy at seeing the Khan family together in such a sacred setting, others have criticized it, especially given the religious sensitivities and many question the ethics of sharing such altered images. But raising questions, especially about a holy place like the Kaaba.

Fans have also pointed out that Gauri Khan has always supported SRK’s religion and never changed his faith. Some users criticized Instagram pages for sharing these images, saying such sensitive content should be avoided.

For the uninformed, Shah Rukh Khan performed Umrah back in 2022 after completing the shooting of Dinky in Saudi Arabia.

On the professional front, SRK is all set to share screen space with his daughter Sahana Khan in the upcoming project King.
