Aam Aadmi Party’s Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday challenged Ramesh Budhuri to a public debate, claiming that the former MP is ready to become the Bharatiya Janata Party’s chief ministerial candidate ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections. BJP CEC meeting for Delhi elections
The BJP Central Election Committee (CEC) held an important meeting on Friday to finalize the remaining candidates for the February 5 Delhi Assembly elections.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh besides several top leaders of the Delhi BJP attended the meeting at the BJP headquarters.
News agency ANI reported that the meeting mainly focused on the remaining Delhi seats, where discussions were held to finalize the candidates for these constituencies.
The report added that BJP is likely to release the final list of candidates for these constituencies in Delhi on Saturday.
The Delhi elections are scheduled to be held in a single phase on February 5, with the results to be declared on February 8.
