Last night, Doja Cat’s X account started publishing posts about the cryptocurrency under the ticket $DOJA. The posts also poked fun at fellow rapper Iggy Azalea, who has launched her own cryptocurrency $MOTHER. Hackers posted: “Fuck that stupid bitch [Iggy Azalea] And buy $DOJA.

An attempt to stir up beef between the rappers was quickly put to rest by Azealia, who posted: “Don’t buy all of this. She’s hacked. Save your money, the market is down like…

In a separate post, Iggy Azalea wrote: “Y’all get rough if you want but I’m cool. [with] that girl [in real life] So fuck you all [with] They tweet hackers.”

Other posts from the hacked DujaCat account promoting American musician Weiland have described his music as “satanic”.

Doja Cat has since confirmed the hack, Writing on an Instagram Story: “My Twitter has been hacked, these messages are not from me.”

Duja is now the latest artist to be hacked by crypto scammers. At the end of June, Metallica’s X account was similarly hacked by crypto scammers promoting $METAL.. The scammer posted details about a scheme where users could exchange their METAL tokens for Metallica concert tickets and exclusive merchandise, including an Xbox game console signed by Metallica himself.
