QuickShare is Apple’s equivalent of AirDrop for Android users. Although it’s been around on Android handsets for a while, the instant sharing functionality is adding new ways to share files with other users.

Android phone users can now share files via QuickShare with the help of a QR code, which will make receiving files hassle-free and more secure for recipients. This feature is widely (by 9to5Google) when it was announced last month and initially spotted in May of last year.
