Union Minister Ashwini Vishnu has announced that the government is ready to compete with prominent AI platforms such as DPC and Chattagpat. The timeline for the move is Mahatkankashi, whose projects are ready in the next 10 months. Minister Vishnu revealed that India is in the process of developing its big language model (LLM). To support this effort, the country has set up a facility equipped with 18,000 high -end graphics processing unit (GPU). In comparison, the Dippic AI works with 2,000 GPUs, while Chat GPT was trained using 25,000 GPUs. India’s more than 18,000 GPUs are ready to advance this AI mission.

As the ANI has noted, the Union Minister emphasized that the focus will be on creating an AI model linked to Indian context and culture. This shows that the hometown AI model will meet local languages ​​and consumer needs. It aims to support languages ​​like Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Bengali, besides Hindi.

Regarding the India AI mission, the Union Minister highlighted Prime Minister Modi’s comprehensive vision. The move has been laid down in the essence of India, in which the first major step in establishing a joint computing facility is. The facility includes 18,693 GPUs, which is higher than the initial target of 10,000 GPUs.
