Not only are companies building chatbots, but many employees are using them on a daily basis – with or without permission. Yet Chat GPT And such can lead to massive data breaches. How to protect them?

Often illegal

What customer profiles are buying in your store? Still need delivery where? How to prepare a quote in Polish? These are all questions that AI chatbots like ChatGPT can answer in an instant. All you have to do is upload your documents and the digital assistant will carefully summarize them. As a result, it only makes sense that many employees use digital assistants in the workplace, whether to save time or to make less fun tasks easier.

However, their use is often illegal: as soon as personal data is entered, it is considered a data leak. According to the Dutch Personal Data Authority (AP), “a data leak involves accessing personal data without authorization or intent.”
