
WhatsApp, a quick messaging request, has alleged that Israeli spyware company Paragon Soulshans have targeted around 90 journalists and civil society members who use the app.
A WhatsApp official said that the subordinate of the meta had sent a ceasefire and a defective letter to Paragon Solutions after the hack.
In a statement issued, WhatsApp said the company will continue to struggle to protect people’s ability to negotiate privately.
On the other hand, Paragon has refused to comment on the matter.
A WhatsApp official told Reuters that the platform had flagged around 90 users in an attempt.
However, he refused to say what specific people were targeted or from what region they belonged. But the company pointed out that they were targeted by the media and civil society.
