
A man claims that artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT saved his life after he fell ill after exercising. The man claimed that the chatbot was able to detect his illness before the doctors and saved his kidney from being seriously affected.

The man took to Reddit to share his incredible story. “ChatGPT saved my life. About a week ago I decided to do a workout, which I didn’t think was too intense, but I woke up feeling like I had been hit by a bus. Hm,” he said, adding that even though he only did a few push-ups, squats and planks, his coffee intake was high and he was dehydrated.

Rare kidney disease
The chatbot processed her symptoms and told her to seek medical help at a hospital immediately as it diagnosed her with “moderate to severe rhabdomyolysis”. After some more searching, he was convinced that the chatbot was correct and went to the hospital.
“They did lab work and it turned out that I had developed acute rhabdomyolysis, basically when your muscles break down rapidly and the proteins can block your kidneys,” he said.
Rhabdomyolysis is a rare muscle injury where your muscles break down after an injury or after excessive exercise. The man was immediately hospitalized with life-threatening conditions and spent a week under observation in the hospital.
“I also used ChatGPT to analyze my lab results, which were consistent with what the medical team said. I knew what was going on before the doctor told me that ChatGPT What’s going on because of the analysis done through,” he revealed.

The man said he was incredibly impressed with how capable and advanced ChatGPT has become. “I see stories about ChatGPT saving other people’s lives, but I never thought I would be one of them. Thanks, ChatGPT!” he wrote.
