Yoga guru Ramdev today shared his thoughts on the challenges facing India’s youth during an episode of entrepreneur Raj Shamani’s podcast ‘Figuring Out’. In an unfiltered conversation, Shamani raised key concerns about the current trajectory of Indian youth, and Ramdev offered his perspective on the issues.
The discussion focused on the consumption habits and lifestyle choices of young people, especially those between the ages of 8 and 18. Ramdev expressed his concern about the increasing amount of time young people spend on their phones.
“In India today, 8 to 18-year-olds are mindlessly spending 8 to 12 hours scrolling through their phones, consuming anything and everything. They’re engaging in harmful, vulgar content. are and highly motivated by what they see, hear and eat.” Ram Dev Commented
He highlighted how this behavior has contributed to a loss of purpose, with many young people drifting away from their true potential. “They have become mere consumers, not creators—absorbers of negative influences, unhealthy visuals and toxic information.
