He said the attack occurred just as Prime Minister Narendra Modi commenced his third term in office.

Athawale said, “I believe terrorism has ceased in the region of J-K. This attack was carried out deliberately, solely to instill fear.”

Additionally, Union Minister Athawale asserted that the repetition of such incidents would warrant taking control of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

“It looks like they (BJP/NDA) don’t want backward classes and Dalit communities. Several people from such communities have been elected to the state from that party,” Parameshwara told reporters in Bengaluru.
