MUMBAI: Police on Thursday registered a case against unknown persons for hacking the video conferencing platform of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), a quasi-judicial body that adjudicates issues related to Indian companies, to broadcast obscene videos. .
According to the police, NCLT functions were halted due to interruptions in video conferencing services as unknown persons hacked the system and played obscene videos on the platform. The videos began playing on courtroom monitors on two days – December 12 and 17 – at noon, as members dealt with disputes.
