After the meeting, Zelinger said he discussed quantum technology and information with the Indian leader.

The Austrian quantum physicist said that he feels that the Prime Minister is a very spiritual person and that all world leaders should have this quality.

Zelinger said he had “very pleasant discussions” with PM Modi on topics such as quantum technology, quantum information, spirituality and fundamental concepts of quantum physics.

“We discussed spiritual things, we talked about the possibilities of quantum information, quantum technology, and the basic fundamental ideas of quantum physics. I experienced them as a very spiritual person, and I I think that’s a trait that more leaders in the world should have today… the point is that you support talented young people to follow their ideas and come up with new ideas. That’s the thing Which can happen in every country, certainly in India, because it has a huge, spiritual and technological past.

PM Modi said he spoke about India’s quantum mission.

“Had a wonderful meeting with Nobel laureate Anton Zeilinger. His work in quantum mechanics is outstanding and will continue to guide generations of researchers and innovators. His passion for knowledge and learning is outstanding. Talked about efforts like the National Quantum Mission and how we’re fostering an ecosystem for tech and innovation, I’m also happy to have a very touching message with his book.

PM Narendra Modi after concluding his visit to Austria. His visit to Russia, and met with Austrian President Alexander von der Bellen. The two leaders discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between India and Austria in areas such as environment and combating climate change.

After the meeting between the two leaders, India and Austria issued a joint statement that both countries support any collective effort to facilitate a “peaceful solution” to the Ukraine conflict in accordance with international law and the UN Charter.
