We face the dangers of AI technology in Ananya Pandey’s Netflix thriller CTRL and SonyLiv’s Manvat Murders brings to life the horror of a brutal, undercover murder in a 1970s Maharashtra village. Anupam Kher tells the story of a heartbroken man who has to decide when to pull the plug on his wife of 35 years, who is now in a vegetative state, footing the bill for expensive life support machines.

As medical bills mount and hopes for her recovery dwindle, the husband is caught in the heartbreaking dilemma of whether to continue treatment or pull the plug on his vegetarian wife. The film is the Hindi adaptation of Vikram Gokhale’s National Award-winning Marathi film Anumathi (2013).

Manot murder

Between 1970 and 1976, Mannot village in Maharashtra was haunted by mysterious murders of a few children, infants and women. The corpses are said to have strange markings that indicate witchcraft or ritual murder. Even after years of investigation, the culprits and motives behind these brutal murders are still not clear. SonyLiv’s eight-part series is based on these murders and retells the story from the perspective of an investigating officer. It will be available for streaming in Marathi, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali.

The Legend of Vox Machine Season 3

As romance knocks at her door, the curse complicates things for her. The series was previously serialized in Japan on Saturdays from August 1987 to March 1996. Some of the original voice actors, including Kopi Yamaguchi, Megumi Hayashibara, and Noriko Hidaka, reprise their roles.

Heartstopper Season 3
