According to a shared Geekbench screenshot, the rumored Galaxy S25 Slim, which has 12GB of RAM, scored 3005 single-core and 6945 multi-core. The device seems to be running on the latest Android 15. It’s also powered by a Qualcomm chipset, and the architecture suggests it could be the Snapdragon 8 Elite or the exclusive Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip.
While Geekbench indicates that Samsung definitely has another device, it’s still unclear whether we’ll see the Galaxy S25 Slim at the Unpacked event on January 22. Earlier rumors indicated that we won’t witness a launch until Q2 2025.
However, the Unpacked teaser image hints at four phones placed together, which may or may not mean we’ll get a glimpse of the rumored Slim phone. Meanwhile, you can head over to our Galaxy S25 guide on what to expect from the Galaxy Unpacked event.
The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to have a slimmer profile, and it’s unclear what sacrifices Samsung will make to achieve this compared to the flagship Galaxy S25 series trio. On the other hand, the smartphone is expected to have a triple camera system, even with its slim form factor.
Earlier reports indicated that it could sport a 200MP primary lens, like the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra, and even include two 50MP ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. According to rumours, the S25 Slim may use Samsung’s recently developed ALoP technology to pack powerful cameras into a smaller package.
