Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s son Adhyayandhi Stalin was on Saturday named as Deputy Chief Minister in a mega cabinet reshuffle.
Adhyaanidhi Currently, he is the sports minister in the government headed by his father. His elevation comes days after MK Stalin’s cryptic response to his son’s impending elevation.
“There will be no despair; there will be change,” the chief minister was quoted as saying by PTI.
On 19 September, Tamil Nadu’s Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Thamo Anbrasan asserted that Adhyayanidhi Stalin’s promotion as Deputy Chief Minister was “easy”.
According to PTI, Anbarsan had said that Adhianidhi will definitely be announced by the government as the Deputy Chief Minister within a week to 10 days. “Maybe, the announcement could be tomorrow,” he said.
