One of Perth’s most prestigious medical centers – the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research – is at the center of a major cyber attack, with hackers claiming to have stolen more than four terabytes of internal CCTV footage.

The infamous Medusa ransomware group posted on their dark web blog that they had successfully infiltrated the institute’s servers and “uploaded 4.6TB of internal building Carmira (sic) recordings”.
