Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the grand Diputsu program in Ayodhya on Wednesday and said that ‘Kashi and Mathura’ should also shine like holy cities.
He added that Ayodhya is proof that the “double-engine government is fulfilling its promise”.
Referring to the inauguration of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya earlier this year, Yogi Adityanath said Lord Rama is in his home on Diwali after a gap of 500 years.
He said this is a historic first as after 500 years Lord Rama is now in his abode in Ayodhya for Diwali.
In 2019, the Supreme Court ended the decades-long temple-mosque dispute as it awarded the disputed land to the Hindu side for construction of the Ram temple. He also ordered the government to provide separate land to the Muslim side in Ayodhya for construction of a grand mosque.
“This is just the beginning and this beginning has to reach its logical conclusion. So by 2047, when the country celebrates 100 years of its independence, Kashi and Mathura should also shine like Ayodhya,” he said.
In Varanasi, a protracted court battle is underway to resolve the Kashi Vishwanath-Gyanavapi Temple Masjid dispute. A similar court case is going on over the Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Eidgah Masjid dispute in Mathura.
Yogi Adityanath said that the “double-engine government has fulfilled its promise (construction of the Ram temple)”.
“Remember, this”Agni Pariksha’ Mother Sita should not be repeated. We have to come out of it… the people of Ayodhya have to come forward (for it) once again. That is why we are here today for this grand celebration,” the CM said.
He further said that like mafias, these obstacles will also be eliminated.
The consecration ceremony was led by the temple trust in close coordination with the BJP-led UP government. Thousands of celebrities, actors, businessmen participated in this grand event.
“On January 22 this year, after a wait of 500 years, Lord Ram Lalla was once again enthroned at his birthplace, giving a message to the oppressed and distraught world that one should never stray from one’s path because it The approach will surely lead to success,” said the Chief Minister.
He said that this is the moment to remember all those souls who dedicated their lives for the Ram Janmabhoomi movement.
“I salute on this occasion all those saints and martyrs, numbering about 3,50,000,” who sacrificed their lives while leaving this world: whatever the cost. . By his sacrifice, a temple for Lord Rama should be built on the land of Ayodhya,” added Yogi Adityanath.
