The official website of Zee Media Corporation has been allegedly hacked and defaced by a group of Bangladeshi hackers, as claimed in a message displayed on the website’s homepage.

A message published on the website on Wednesday said it was “hacked by Systemadminbd” and “web server seized by Systemadminbd” as Zee Media “mocked the situation in Bangladesh”. He further warned that “if they continue with their dirty behaviour, we will take over and destroy their channel”.

It showed a screenshot of a news report on ZEE TV Bangla News with the headline: “India released water! Bangladesh now drowned.” It also reportedly said: “Due to floods, the authorities have opened the Dambor Hydroelectric Project Dam. As a result, Bangladesh is going to float.”
