Minister Nara Lokesh moved quickly in response to the student’s request. He re-shared Biswaya’s message and assured him that he would get the help he needed.

Andhra Pradesh Minister for HRD, IT and Education, Nara Lokesh, has offered his help to a student named Chebrulu Biswaya, a resident of Itili village in the state’s West Godavari district. Basavaya had recently secured a place at IIIT Lucknow but was struggling to arrange the money needed to get admission in the prestigious college. His course fee was Rs 4 lakh. Desperate, she contacted Minister Lokesh on X (formerly Twitter) and detailed her family’s financial woes. Along with this, he also shared the scorecard of the Joint Entrance Test for Masters (JAM) held this year.

“Hello sir my name is Biswaya. I am from Tanku Constituency, Itili village, WG. I got 930 rank in IIT JAM-2024 and I also got admission in IIIT Lucknow (MSc Data Science). Got the seat and its course fee is around 4 lakhs, my family is financially weak .. so please help in this situation,” read the student’s post

Minister Nara Lokesh moved quickly in response to the student’s request. He re-shared Biswaya’s message and assured him that he would get the help he needed. He also told him that he would be able to pursue further studies in the college of his choice.

“Basavaya, you will study in IIIT Lucknow. Your dream will come true. I will take care of your fees. I wish you all the best,” read Nara Lokesh’s post on X.

Soon after receiving the assurance, student Biswaya thanked the minister profusely under the post. “Thank you very much, Nara Lokesh. I never forget this help throughout my life,” he wore.

This act of generosity received widespread approval online, with many praising Lokesh’s compassion and quick response. “Lokesh Garu, replying to a tweet in just 39 minutes is impressive! Your help and support means a lot. Basavaya, you got a really gifted brother today. Your future is bright here. When you can So remember to pay it forward,” read one comment.

“The more I see this guy, the more I see him as the new leader of Andhra! Love your work Anna,” said one viewer while another suggested, “Great job. Give us such A solution should be worked out for the help of the students. They should not need to tweet to get the help. There may be a suitable forum or channel for such candidates to apply for help.
