Addressing Karachi’s business community, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir expressed optimism about Pakistan’s economic recovery and future stability, saying that the clouds of despair that hung over the country a year ago are over. They are now retired.

He emphasized that “despair is forbidden for Muslims,” ​​echoing his earlier statements that optimism is the key to overcoming challenges. The Army Chief said that there are signs of improvement in the country’s economy and predicted a bright future for Pakistan’s economic scenario.

General Munir also targeted the pessimists and said that the country is on the verge of default. “Where are the people who talked about default?” he asked. “Shouldn’t they be held accountable?” he stressed on the importance of prioritizing the nation over personal or political interests, saying that nothing, not even politics, is for the good of the country.

Pakistan is like a mother. The people of Libya, Iraq and Palestine know its value. Remember, we have no identity apart from Pakistan,” he said, emphasizing national unity.

He urged the business community to invest in Pakistan, highlighting that the country’s economic stability can only come from collective efforts. He said that if we are united, no one can harm us. “You can bring your money to Pakistan, people will earn and the country will develop.”

General Munir concluded by saying that terrorism is often financed through illegal businesses backed by certain elements, and emphasized that the state of Pakistan needs to protect its digital borders and protect its citizens. Responsible for ensuring digital security.
