“You’re not ‘Dr.’, you’re ‘Mr.’ Fauci in my few minutes,” he said after reviewing the reports. Green also released a photo of him showing him failing to follow his masking regulations. A photo display captures Fauci with his mask at a baseball game in July 2020.

Green’s heated attack sent the subcommittee into a frenzy, and members speculated whether the Republican representative had violated hearing rules. Chairman Brad Weinstrup (R-Ohio) shouted back at him to drop his questioning attitude. He orders him to address Fauci as Doctor: “I have instructed him to address him as Doctor,” but fails miserably.

However, Green rejected all such urgent orders, despite several Democratic lawmakers condemning his action. While Weinstrup told members to “refrain from rhetoric that could be construed as an attack on the motives or character of another member or witness,” Green stood firmly by his remarks.

In his conclusion, he added, “You should be tried for crimes against humanity,” and ended with “You belong in prison, Dr. Fauci.”

Before signing off, Green cited a new report: “NIH scientists earned $710 million in royalties from drug makers. A fact that has been kept hidden.”

“Is it right for scientists and doctors to obtain patents for the paychecks of the American people, the government taxpayers, where they are paid millions and millions of dollars in royalty fees?”

Before the House hearing, Green referred to Fauci as “Dr. Frankenstein” on his X/Twitter feed: “Dr. Frankenstein, I mean Fauci, will appear before our Covid Select Committee tomorrow. What would you like to ask or tell him? Also, know anyone who has been permanently injured or killed by Fauci’s forced covid vaccine?

Reiterating his statements on social media, MTG also tweeted, “Jail. That’s where Anthony Fauci belongs. Not sitting on a committee and lying to our faces. Mr. Fauci should be prosecuted and put in jail.” should go
