A video circulating online has captured the frustration of many train passengers in India. The clip shows a woman voicing her concerns about overcrowding to a traveling ticket examiner (TTE) on board the 22969 OKHA BSBS Super Fast Express (Okha to Benares) train.
In the video, the woman expresses her concern regarding safety and lack of personal space due to the large number of passengers. She asks the TTE how women can feel safe in such situations.
However, the TTE’s response has drawn criticism. He folds his hands and simply says that he is not in a position to solve the problem, as he cannot build extra trains.
A user named @mshahi0024 shared the video with a caption that read, “222969 trains full of passengers like animals; no way to even pee; passengers stuck at stations.” Helpless girl: Sir, put me in the train. The coach is full. How will a girl go among boys?”

The woman, reportedly unhappy with the lack of resolution, accuses the TTE of prioritizing her comfort over the safety of passengers, especially women.
The video has sparked outrage online, with many criticizing the TTE’s response as dismissive and unhelpful.
“Railways should only allow passengers with confirmed tickets to the platform to stop this hassle,” commented a user.
“Government should also take action on this matter. Either increase train capacity or strictly prevent unauthorized persons from entering reserved coaches,” another user wrote.
“This is what we’re talking about? New fancy trains can’t solve the problem,” commented a third user.
