Video: Moment 3 hostages rescued by Israel from Hamas captivity

The four hostages were kidnapped from a music festival.

The Israeli military freed four hostages from Hamas custody in Gaza over the weekend after a “complicated day’s operation”.

Israel has released a video showing the moment three of the four hostages – Almog Mirjan, Andrey Kozlov and Shlomi Zev – were rescued.

The video shows Israeli army and police officers entering the apartment where the three men were being held hostage by Hamas in Gaza.

This is the moment when the Elite Imam Unit rescued former hostages Shlomi Zeev, Almog Mirjan and Andrey Kozlov from captivity in Gaza.

Another video shows hostages getting into a helicopter with officers. The clip reads, “Helicopter take off from Gaza Strip with three hostages.”

The four hostages – Nova Argamani, Almog Mirjan, Andrey Kozlov and Shlomi Zev – were kidnapped by Hamas from the Nova music festival on October 7 during an attack against Israel.

Noah Argmani was rescued from one location, while Almog Mirjan, Andrey Kozlov and Shlomi Zev were rescued from a different apartment.

The IDF described the daytime operation, “Seeds of Summer,” as a “high-risk, complex mission” that was “surgical” in its precision.

Israel Defense Forces Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said the rescue mission had been planned for weeks using “accurate intelligence”.

The deadliest conflict in Gaza’s history began on October 7 with a deadly attack by Hamas on southern Israel, which left 1,189 Israelis dead and 252 hostages. Gaza’s health ministry reported more than 36,801 deaths, most of them civilians.
