The Israeli military said on Sunday (Sept 29, 2024) that it had struck “dozens” of Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, two days after an airstrike. Hasan Nasrallah, the head of the group, was killed..

The army said in a statement on Telegram that Israel Defense Forces “attacked dozens of terrorist targets in the Lebanese territory in the past few hours”.

The attacks “targeted buildings where the organization’s weapons and military structures were kept,” the statement said.

Israel struck “hundreds” of Hezbollah targets yesterday, it added, as it aimed to disable the group.
