In another attack in the United States, at least 11 people were injured in a shooting at a nightclub in Queens, New York.

Reports said the shooting began around 11:20 p.m. on January 1 near the Amazura Event Hall at 91-12 144th St., within the boundaries of the 103rd Precinct in Jamaica.

The New York Police Department has not yet released details about the incident. The condition of the injured is not yet known.

On January 1, a US Army veteran drove a pickup truck into a crowd of New Year’s revelers in New Orleans, killing 15 people. The president said he had posted videos on social media hours before the massacre that he was inspired by the Islamic State group and expressed a desire to kill.

The FBI said it was investigating the attack early Wednesday, in which the driver drove around a police roadblock and called it terrorism before being shot dead by police. and he did not believe that he had acted alone.

The FBI identified the driver as 42-year-old Shamsuddin Jabbar, a U.S. citizen from Texas, and said it was working to determine any possible ties to terrorist organizations.
