For a section of the Internet, however, the act of selling pictures of feet online was enough of a joke.

“Just a touching moment,” said an X user after a post with a screenshot of an Esha Life product listing went viral.
“Earlier people used to do dakshina to touch the feet of the gurus and get their blessings. Now, Siddhguru has innovated,” explained another person.
“The economy is so bad even Sadhguru is selling pictures of feet,” joked another X user.
While many were delighted by the image of Sidhguru’s feet, some tried to explain the reasoning behind the product.
“Now some people are selling such a picture saying that it is immoral, unethical, cheating, cheating, etc., if we can touch the feet of our elders, our gurus, and those whom we look up to, So what’s wrong with keeping a picture of their feet?” X user Kush Sarin asked in his lengthy defense of the photo.
