“Saudi Arabia clarified that its aircraft, flying on flight SV792 from Riyadh to Peshawar, experienced smoke from a tire while landing at Peshawar International Airport in Pakistan,” it said.
“The aircraft was immediately grounded and the relevant authorities were informed. All guests and crew were safely evacuated through the evacuation slide. The aircraft is now undergoing a technical evaluation by experts,” the statement added. Is.”
In a post on X, Global Defense Insight uploaded photos of parts of the plane that appear to be charred.
“The air traffic controller immediately reported the incident to the pilot, and fire and rescue services, who arrived in time and were able to quickly extinguish the fire and prevent a major accident”.
It added that “all 276 passengers and 21 crew members were safely evacuated from the aircraft using a flyable slide. The flight had started from Riyadh to Peshawar”.
