The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has announced a reward of up to Rs 2.1 crore for any information leading to the arrest of Bhadresh Kumar Chetanbhai Patel. He is a fugitive on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted List.

“#FBI is offering a reward of up to $250,000 for information leading to the arrest of ten most wanted fugitives, Bhadresh Kumar Chetanbhai Patel, on April 12, 2015 while working at a donut shop in Hanover, Maryland. “Wanted for allegedly murdering his wife,” their official notice read.

Chetanbhai Patel is accused of killing his wife Pulak in 2015 while working at a Dunkin’ Donuts in Hanover, Maryland. He allegedly attacked her with a kitchen knife in the back room of the shop, stabbing her multiple times. The incident took place during the night shift in the presence of customers and was caught on CCTV. The footage showed him, then 24, and his wife heading towards the kitchen area before disappearing from view.

He now faces felony charges including first-degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and carrying a dangerous weapon with intent to injure. An arrest warrant was issued in April 2015 after which he fled to avoid prosecution.
